AUTUMN

I suppose everybody is moved by the seasons. This is my favorite time of year. The evening’s draw crisp after a summer of sweat. The leaves changing from an array of greens to yellows and oranges and finally melting into rust. The bare branches reaching up into the sky. And, then there’s the skies, a panoply of blue, so clear on some days that you just wanna touch it. Fall is about change as well. It’s not a season that sits in stillness. It’s the transitional bridge from the heat of summer to the cold of winter. It’s the period in life where you can take a breather, surviving one season to prepare for the next, the harvesting.
